Robert L. "Bobby" Sonday

Robert L. "Bobby" Sonday, 58, of Upper Bern Twp., passed away Tuesday July 9th in his residence of natural causes with his loving family by his side.

He was married to Emily L. (Dietrich) Sonday. Bobby and Emily were married for thirty three years.

Born in West Reading, he was the son of the late Lester C. Sonday and Ruth (Leinbach) Sonday.

He was employed by the former Baldwin Brass in Reading for ten years.
For many years he helped on the family farm.
He graduated from Hamburg High School in 1974.
He was a member of Friedens Church in Shartlesville.
He enjoyed woodworking and gardening.

Additional survivors include his son, Jeffrey R. Sonday, husband of Kristin (Geiger) Sonday of Hamburg.
There are four siblings, Dennis Sonday, husband of Debra of Hamburg, Donald Sonday, husband of Jom of SC, Larry Sonday, husband of Pam of Pine Grove, and Sharon Altland, wife of Matthew of Shoemakersville.
Also, there are several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday July 13th at 11 am in Friedens Church, 28 Wolf Creek Rd., Shartlesville, PA 19554 with Rev. Jerry Kulp officiating.
Interment will follow in the adjoining church cemetery. Family and friends may call in Friedens Church, Shartlesville for a viewing on Friday evening from 6-8pm and Saturday from 10-11am. Flowers are welcome, or memorial contributions may be made to Friedens Church at the above address.
