Rosanne G. Peters suddenly passed on away April 8, 2024, at St. Joseph Medical Center,
surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 17th, 1930 in Stroudsburg PA. She
was a graduate of Stroudsburg High School.
Rosanne will always be remembered for her zealous volunteer ministry as one of Jehovah's
Witnesses for over 50 years. She was an avid gardener, always displaying her love for
Jehovah's creation. Her friends and family will always remember her spontaneously
breaking into dance at the first sound of music. Also, no one could resist her chocolate
cake. She will be loved and missed by all UNTIL...
Rosanne is survived by her loving husband, Lowell E Peters, and her children, Rosemary
Murray (Dennis), Cindy Bender (Sam), Linda Handwerk, Robert Evans Jr. (Judy), Robyne
Hockenberry (Dale), Melody Wilson (Kenny), Keith Peters (Shannon), Sherry Buehrer (Dave)
and Heather Horst (Peter). She also leaves behind 22 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren
and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Lori Trovitch
and grandchildren Kelly Kennedy, Jeff Carvalho, and Shawn Peters.
The Memorial service will take place on April 27th at 1 pm at the Leesport Kingdom Hall of
Jehovah's Witnesses 540 Hunter Liggett Drive, Shoemakersville PA 19555. The service will also be available via Zoom. For a Zoom address, please contact the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may made to the Worldwide Work of Jehovah's Witnesses.
