Russellene A. Good, a cherished soul and steadfast supporter of the Philadelphia Flyers, departed this world on February 2, 2026, at her residence. Born on March 29, 1947, in Coatesville, she graced the lives of those around her with a spirit deeply rooted in faith and a warm, inviting laughter that echoed in every gathering.
As a devoted member of the Salvation Army in Boyertown, Russellene embodied a true commitment to community service, offering her time and heart to those in need. Her nurturing nature was further evident in her love for cats, whom she adored and doted on as members of her family. Each feline friend was greeted with the same warmth she extended to her loved ones, creating a home brimming with love and companionship.
She is survived by her beloved children: James T. Claytor, Jr., husband of Sharon; Thomas L. Claytor, husband of Heather; Kevin A. Claytor; and Florence S. Long, wife of Phillip. Russellene celebrated the joyous milestones of life through her grandchildren—Nicholas, Nathan, Brett, Ashlin, and Bristol—who brought her immeasurable pride and joy.
Russellene is sorely missed by those who shared her journey, alongside the fond memories of her first husband, James T. Claytor, Sr. and late husband, Richard Good, and her cherished parents, William R. and Catherine A. (Wakefield) Shubrooks. She is also remembered by her siblings, Hazel Daniels, Catherine Stump, Russell Shubrooks, and Shirley "Marie" Long, who carry forward her spirit with love.
A visitation to honor Russellene's life will be held on February 9, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM, followed by a memorial service celebrating her enduring legacy, starting at 9:45 AM. Both events will take place at the Milkins Trymbiski Funeral Home, located at 4914 Kutztown Road, Temple, PA. Burial will take place in Berks County Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Russellene's name may be made to Berks Community Cats,
In every smile she shared and every moment she cherished, Russellene A. Good remains a radiant light, illuminating the hearts of those fortunate to have known her. As we say our goodbyes, we hold tight to the memories forged in laughter, love, and a fervent spirit.
