Sandra L. "Sandy" Bagenstose

December 4, 1949 — October 30, 2016

Sandra L. "Sandy" Bagenstose, 66, loving and caring wife, mother, and sister, passed away Sunday, October 30th in the Reading Hospital.

Sandy was married to Kenneth A. "Chip" Bagenstose, Sr. for 47 years.

Born in Alsace Township, she was the daughter of the late Russell E. Yoder and Ella N. (Keller) Yoder.

Sandy graduated from Oley Valley High School in 1967.

She was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church.

Sandy was a dedicated stay-at-home mother who was devoted to her family.

Additional survivors include two sons, Kenneth A. "Chipper" Bagenstose, Jr. of Temple and Jason A. Bagenstose of Blandon.

Sandy loved vacationing at Rehoboth Beach with her husband Chip, attending son Jason's soccer and basketball games, and sharing a love of TV and movies with son Chipper.

There are two sisters: Gloria J. Timmins, wife of Larry of Alsace Twp., and Carol A. Kolb, wife of Robert, of Blandon.

She is predeceased by a sister, Linda Fatkin, and survived by Linda's husband, Richard, of Temple, and predeceased by a brother, Ricky Yoder, and survived by Ricky's wife, Sherry Christman, of Alsace Twp.

There are several nieces and nephews.

Services will be private, as per Sandy's request.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Sandra L. Bagenstose Memorial Scholarship fund. Send to Schuylkill Valley High School, c/o Jason Bagenstose, 929 Lakeshore Dr., Leesport, PA 19533. Checks should be made payable to: Schuylkill Valley Athletic Booster's Club (SVABC).
