Sandra L. Dittman

Sandra L. Dittman, born October 4, 1945, in Pottsville, passed away on September 3, 2026, at St. Joseph's Medical Center.

A 1964 graduate of Pine Grove Area High School, Sandra built a long and steady working life as co-owner of Hoffert's Used Auto Parts for more than 40 years. Her years in business reflected commitment, perseverance, and a deep investment in the work she shared over decades.

Sandra was preceded in death by her partner, Monroe Hoffert, with whom she shared 40+ years; her son, Alfred B. Dittman III; her father Jay Riegel Sr. her mother, Mildred Riegel (Bressler)and her sister Joyce Strause.

She is survived by her sister Patricia Brown, her brother Jay Riegel Jr., several nephews and a niece who remain to cherish her memory with love and gratitude. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her and peace to all who mourn her passing.

Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Kirkhoff Funeral Home, 206 North Main Street, Bernville, PA 19506. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place at St. Thomas Cemetery, Washington Street, Bernville, PA 19506.
