Shirley Ann Marie (Shrader) Young, 86, born on September 10, 1937, in Reading, PA, peacefully passed away on April 3, 2024, at Reading Hospital.
She was a dedicated member of Good Shepherd United Church Of Christ in Tuckerton, where she faithfully served as the church secretary until her retirement in 1993.
Shirley was formerly of Ontelaunee Township and for many years resided with her daughter and son in law in Newmanstown.
Shirley graduated from Reading High School,
Predeceased by her loving parents, Thomas Shrader and Marie Nein.
Shirley leaves behind a legacy of warmth and compassion.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen E. Ambrosia, who is the beloved wife of David A. Ambrosia of Newmanstown, PA. Also mourning her loss are her step-grandson Anthony Ambrosia and step-grandchildren Charlotte and Jackson Ambrosia.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
