Stanley L. Dutt

Stanley Lee Dutt lost his lengthy battle with cancer on July 9, 2023, surrounded by his family at the Berks Heim Nursing Home.

Stanley was born on June 16, 1934 in Fleetwood, PA.  Son of the late Alfred and Helen Dutt.  He was one of 7 siblings, including Herbert (Deceased), Harvey W. (Deceased), Alfred (Deceased), Donald, husband of Anna; Robert and Alice Price, wife of Barry Price.  Stanley was a 1952 graduate of Muhlenberg Twp. HS. And an US Army Veteran, serving from 1956 to 1958 in Stuttgart Germany and Beirut Lebanon.  Later in life, Stanley was an active member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, Div 11-4 for 50 years.  He served in various posts and contributed to boating safety throughout Berks County.

His work history includes Motion Powder Coating from where he retired.  He served as President of Steelworkers Local while employed by Prestolite Batteries before the plant closing in 1986. Outside of work, Stanley enjoyed fishing, traveling, racing and his constant canine companion, Mikey.

Married for 54 years to Carmen (Vera) Dutt, who passed November of 2014, he is father to Cynthia D Ruth, wife of Richard, Mohnton and Harvey W Dutt, Reading. He is a loving Popup to Aaron T Rinehimer, husband of Kerrie, New Hudson, MI; Samantha R Dutt and her partner Matthew Hinnerschitz, Mount Joy and Victoria R Dutt, Reading.

Aside from his family, Stanley was passionate about giving back to his community. He was active in Church projects including Meals on Wheels, elder transportation and Golden Muhls. Stanley positively impacted our community and will be truly missed.

Please join the family in honoring Stanley with a Memorial Service to be held Friday July 14, 2023 at 1:00 PM in the Milkins Trymbiski Funeral Home, Temple PA.

Visitors may call from Noon until the start of the service at 1:00 PM in the funeral home.

Burial immediately following at Laureldale Cemetery.
