Stanley Lee Snyder

January 15, 1943 — October 13, 2025

Stanley Lee Snyder, a caring and devoted husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2025, at Rittenhouse Village at Muhlenberg. Born on January 15, 1943, in Hamburg, Pennsylvania, Stanley lived a life full of passion and dedication, exemplified by his 30-year career as a diesel mechanic with Penn Dot, where he worked tirelessly until his retirement in 2005.

Throughout his life, Stanley was cherished for his generous spirit and unwavering support. He was a happy man, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. His caring nature extended beyond his professional life, as he devoted himself to his family. Stanley shared a deep bond with his beloved wife, Virginia A. Snyder, with whom he celebrated a wonderful 51 years of marriage. Together, they created a warm and loving home that nurtured their four sons: Michael, David, John, and Christopher Snyder. His legacy continues through his two cherished grandchildren, Cody and Lindsey Snyder, whom he adored.

Stanley had a lifelong passion for racing that began in his younger years when he actively raced micro sprint cars. The thrill of the track invigorated him, and he carried that love into his later years by supporting his youngest son as they worked on cars together—a testament to his commitment to family and shared interests.

He is also survived by his brother, Keneth Snyder. Stanley will be deeply missed by all who knew him and will be remembered for the love he bestowed upon his family and friends.

Stanley's parents, Morris and Pearl Snyder, preceded him in death. As we reflect on his life, we celebrate the memories, laughter, and love he brought into the world, as well as the indelible mark he left on the lives of those fortunate enough to know him.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
