Stephanie May Troutman, affectionately known as "Gram," born on June 14, 1952, in West Reading, PA, passed away peacefully in Pompton Plains, NJ, on July 18, 2025. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, remembered for her warmth, dedication, and zest for life.

Stephanie dedicated a significant portion of her professional life to serving the community, working for 15 years at the Berks County Intermediate Unit as an Administrative Secretary. Her work ethic and commitment were paralleled only by her devotion to her family, which was her pride and joy.

A proud graduate of Conrad Weiser High School class of 1970, Stephanie had a personality that embraced life. She adored her home, cherished time spent with her family, loved traveling, and shared a special bond with her beloved dog, Emma. Family gatherings were a source of happiness and fulfillment for her, and she took great pleasure in creating lasting memories with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Stephanie is survived by her loving husband, Eric H. Troutman of 53 years; her daughter, Victoria S. "Vikki" DeLong, wife of David E., of Palmyra; her son, Eric "Sam" Troutman, Jr., husband of Denise K., of Bernville; and her daughter, Katherine "Katie" A. Troutman of Leesport. She was a proud grandmother to Alexis J. Rivera, wife of Moises, of Sinking Spring; Myriah L. Troutman of Leesport; LeShane S. Troutman of Bernville; Jayquan "Tiger" J.J. Sudler of Lebanon; Alisa M. Troutman of Bernville; Lauren A. Nutter, wife of Jermey, of Bernville; and Jarred "Bubba" D. Luckenbill of Bernville. Additionally, she welcomed seven great-grandchildren: Analia E., Myla A., Lucia J., and Juliana C. Rivera; Avery S.J. Sudler; Keith J.; and Dominic J. Nutter.

Stephanie was the oldest of six children in the house and learn at a very young age not only to be a amazing big sister but also a loving caretaker. She is survived by three of her brothers, Edward "Manny" B. Harakel, husband of Hope, of Tuscarora; Anthony "Anth" P. Harakel, husband of Rebecca, of Bernville; Andrew "Fat" P. Harakel, husband of Janell, of Robesonia; and a sister-in-law Debra Harakel.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert "Bink" P. and Delores E. (Messner) Harakal, her sister, Deborah "Babes" L. Groff, and her late husband Lee Groff and her brother, Albert "Pud" Harakel, Jr.

A visitation will be held in her honor on July 26, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a memorial service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Thomas Church located at 536 North Main Street, Bernville, PA 19506. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

Stephanie's legacy of love, family, and community service will resonate through the lives she touched. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
