Anthony "Tony" W DeAngelo

Anthony "Tony"  W. DeAngelo, 97 , of Laureldale, passed away on  April 4, 2021 in his home.

on April 2, 1924 in Temple, he was a son to the late Domenico and Katerina (D'STazio) D'Angelo. Tony was the husband of the late Delia L. (Turissini) DeAngelo with whom he shared 60 years of marriage at her time of passing on April 22, 2011.

When Tony was 20 years old, he started his own business growing mushrooms; Tony was the Owner and Operator of  DeAngelo Brothers where he worked for 45 years until his retirement in 1989.  He was a member of Saint Marco Society in Temple. Tony enjoyed vacationing to the beach in New Jersey with his family where he built a shore house which they enjoyed for 45 years.

Tony is survived by his loving daughter, Colette, wife of Jeff C. Nigrelli. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Regina Tranquillo, wife of Jonathan, Nicolette Geloso, Adam Nigrelli and Domenic Nigrelli and six great grandchildren, Giavanna, Anthony, Angelo, Joseph, Antonio and Tony.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his siblings, James DeAngelo, Anna Gibo and David DeAngleo.

Services will be held privately at the request of the family. Burial will take place in Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum.
