Arlene E. (Long) Swartz

Arlene E. (Long) Swartz, 99, of Bernville, passed away Saturday in Complete Care at Berkshire.

Arlene was married to the late Elmer M. Swartz, Sr.

Born in Mohnton, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Long and Sallie H. (Eck) Long.

Arlene was formerly employed by the Bernville Manufacturing Company. She enjoyed watching television, solving word search puzzles, and playing games with her family and friends.

Surviving is a son, Elmer M. Swartz, Jr. of West Lawn.

There are five grandchildren, Faron K. Swartz of Laureldale, Alan Swartz of Bernville, Kim and Heather Swartz, and Charles Swartz.

There are two great grandchildren, Tiffany and Dakota Swartz.

She is predeceased by son, Rodney L. Swartz and his wife Linda Swartz.

Arlene is also predeceased by six siblings.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 6th at Noon in the Kirkhoff Funeral Home, 206 N. Main St., Bernville.

A viewing will be held on Friday morning in the funeral home from 11 AM until Noon.

Interment will follow in Haags Cemetery in Bernville.
