Darren L Gernert

Darren L. Gernert, 61, of Lebanon passed away in WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital on December 26. Born on September 23, 1960, he was the son of the late Warren F. and Evelyn J. (nee Bevers) Gernert.  Darren resided in Lebanon, PA for the past several years but was originally born and raised in Muhlenberg Twp. He is survived by his brother, David B. Gernert of Lebanon; sister Cheryl L. Gernert Gallo and brother-in-law, Roger L. Gallo of Wyomissing and best friend and sister, Carol Ulrich of Reading as well as 3 nieces and a nephew.  He was employed by Sealed Air as a packer for 20 years.

Darren was an avid Disney memorabilia collector, enjoyed camping with family and loved his 16-year-old cat, Abby.  He will be laid to rest with his mother and father at Laureldale Cemetery.  Services will be held privately at the request of the family.
