Glenn A. Wenrich, 89, of Muhlenberg Township, passed away on February 16, 2021 at the Reading Hospital.

Born on May 30, 1931, in Mohnton, he was the son of the late Paul and Margaret (Overley) Wenrich.

He was the loving husband of Shirley L. (Bieber) Wenrich, with whom he has shared sixty-four years of marriage.

He was a graduate of Mohnton High School. Glenn proudly served his county in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was employed as a Director for the PA State Department of Financial Examinations for over thirty years until his retirement in 1991.

He has been a long-time volunteer at the Berks County Heritage Center where several of his hand-crafted canal models are on display, and a passionate member of the PA Canal Society. Glenn was an avid roller skater for his entire life and enjoyed his final skate session among friends in October of 2020.

In addition to his wife, Glenn is survived by his sons, David L. Wenrich husband of Connie L. Wenrich of Harrisburg, PA and Marshall S. Wenrich of Sarasota, FL. Also surviving are grandchildren, Megan L. Wenrich, Jason L. Wenrich and Cameron P. Wenrich, as well as his sister Annetta Witting.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Glenn’s memory to the Berks County Heritage Center, 2201 Tulpehocken Road, Wyomissing PA 19610.

Services will be held private at the convenience of the family. Milkins Trymbiski Funeral Home in Temple is entrusted with the funeral arrangements. Interment will be held in Good Shepherd Cemetery in Reading. Online condolences can be made at milkinstrymbiskifuneralhome.com
