Obituary

Jason A. Spieker, 37, of Reinholds, passed away March 9, 2022 in Reading Hospital with his loving wife by his side.

Born on February 14, 1985 in New Castle, he was the son of Gregory and Marian (Kenny) Spieker. He was a 2003 graduate of Mohawk High School, where he learned many skills through the FFA program. He went on to obtain a Bachelors Degree in Ag Systems Management from Penn State, graduating in 2007. He was a member of the Alpha Zeta Fraternity.

Jason married Anne H. (Hartman) on June 2, 2012.  In their nearly 10 years of marriage, Jason and Anne worked tirelessly together to build their home, business, and family. Jason was a skilled and inventive farmer.  He persistently strived for improvement. In the past five years, Jason found his greatest joy in sharing this passion with his daughters. They loved to garden, take tractor rides, and eat berries together.

Jason was an active member of St. John’s Reformed Church where he served as the Treasurer and on the Consistory. He was an owner of the dairy farm Scattered Acres, Inc.

In addition to his parents, Jason is survived by his wife Anne H. (Hartman) Spieker and daughters, Joslyn Marie (5) and Margaret Anne (3). Also surviving is one brother, David Spieker, husband of Hilary; Sister-in-law Kate Schuler, wife of Brent; Maternal grandfather, Robert Kenny; and father and mother In-law, David and Beth Hartman.
