John E. Eisenhardt

John Eisenhardt, Jr., age 64, of Leesport passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021, while battling COVID-19.

John was born in Reading on September 27, 1957 to Fern and John Eisenhardt. He is survived by his wife, Emmanuela (nee’ Teaca), his children Yoli and Andrei Eisenhardt, his twin sister, Cynthia Eisenhardt, and his other siblings, Eva Marie Schloesser, Heidi Berg, and Cathleen Rioux. He is predeceased by his parents, John and Fern Eisenhardt and his brother, Michael Eisenhardt.

John graduated from Tulpehocken High School in 1977 and worked for Dana Corporation in Reading until they closed in September of 2000. He was most recently employed as a delivery driver at Pacific Pride Fueling Company.

John was a devoted husband and father. He loved driving and working on cars with his best friend, Albert.

John was a spiritual man and attended Reading Hampden Heights Seventh-Day Adventist Church. He was involved in many church activities and served at one time as a deacon.

John would spend many Saturday afternoons ministering to the elderly at Berks Heim as well as to residents of other nursing homes. In addition to his presentations, he would also play hymns on the guitar while his sister, Cindy, accompanied him on piano.

John touched countless lives with his ministry and passion for spreading the word of God.

A private ceremony was held graveside at Charles Evans Cemetery where he was interred. A Celebration of Life for family and friends is being planned for the near future. In lieu of flowers, we request that donations be made to the family.
