Obituary

John A. Ruppert, 95, a resident of Berks Heim since January 2019 passed away on Monday December 28, 2020 with his loving daughters by his side.

John was predeceased by his loving wife Mary. John and Mary were married on November 13, 1994.

Born in Reading he was the son of the later Oliver and Elsie (Oxenreider) Ruppert.

John was employed by ATV Bakery, Reading as a delivery driver for many years.

He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Reading, PA

He served in the U. S.  Navy.

He was a member of Huguenot Lodge Eastern Star, Kutztown. He was also a member of Central PA Teamsters.

John enjoyed spending time with his family. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed going to auctions and finding treasures, or as Mary would say "junk" to bring home.

He is dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.

Surviving as his twin daughters Maureen A. Yoder wife of Alan, Fleetwood, Coleen A. Procopio wife of David, Reading. and step-children Debra Haberstroh and finance Larry Walton, Ocean Pines MD. and step sons Stephen E. Knowles, Lenhartsville, Brian E. Knowles husband to Wendy, Asheville, NC.

There are 10 Grandchildren; Pamela M. Roudybush, Danielle M. Buckwalter, Kristen M. Tuscai, Stephanie M. Warner, Matthew D. Procopio, Jason A. Knowles, Lisa A. Ostrom, Keith D. Knowles, Melissa Burgert, Caitlin Russo

There are 13 Great Grandchildren; Madison and Oliver Roudybush, Mason Buckwalter, Dominic and Makayla Warner, Gabrielle and Michael Knowles, Jacob Brewer, Evan and Cole Ostrom, Mason and Weston Burgert, Nicole Miller.

In Addition to his children he is survived by his sisters, Edith and Ellen Ruppert, Temple.

He is predeceased by his brothers, Earl, Elwood, Ernest, Norman and Charles.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family with burial in Gethsemane Cemetery.

The Milkins Trymbiski Funeral Home in Temple is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
