Lydia Eva (Boyer) Haag

Lydia Eva Haag, 102, of Upper Tulpehocken Twp., passed away on Saturday morning in Country Meadows of Wyomissing.

Lydia was married for fifty seven loving years to the late Ralph W. Haag who passed away January 16, 1996.

Lydia was the daughter of the late Riley Boyer and Eva E. (Hartman) Boyer.

She was a faithful member of St. Thomas Church in Bernville.

She was a devoted homemaker, always taking care of her family. She worked very hard on the family farm in Leesport for forty years.

Surviving are two loving children, Glenn R. Haag of Leesport and Sandra F. Bond, wife of Earl E. Bond of Upper Tulpehocken Twp.

She is survived by her loving grandchildren, Kerry L. Bond and wife Kathleen Bond, David S. Bond and wife Dawn Bond, and Sheila M. Gilmer, wife of Keith Gilmer.  There is a step grandson, Larry Brendle, Jr.

Also, she is survived by her loving great grandchildren, Scott Bond and wife Alyssa, Joel Bond and wife Meghan, Ashley Bond, Andrew Adams and wife Katherine, Nathan Adams, Patrick Bond and wife Amanda, Dale, wife of William Huylett, Brandon Adams and wife Nicole, and Hope Bond.

She is survived by her loving great great grandchildren, Blake Bond, River Adams, Kennadie, Kylie, and Carson Bond, and Winter and Evelyn Adams.

She is predeceased by her great grandchild Megan Adams and eleven brothers and sisters.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 3rd at 11 am in St. Thomas Church, 536 N. Main St., Bernville, PA, 19506.

A viewing will be held on Friday in the church from 9:30 am until 11:00 am.

Interment will follow the service in St. Thomas Cemetery in Bernville.

Memorial contributions may be made in Lydia’s memory to St. Thomas Church at the above address.
