Obituary

Mark E. Christ, 65, of Oley, passed away on March 30, 2023, in the Reading Hospital.

Born on December 3, 1957, he was the son of the late Gerald E. Christ, Jr. and Margaret (Stengel) Christ of Wyomissing.

Mark was an avid Star Trek Fan and loved watching the show and collecting memorabilia. He also enjoyed playing games on his computer and watching television.

In addition to his mother, Mark is survived by his sisters, Barbara Sarangoulis, wife of Terry, of Muhlenberg Twp., and Robin Sarver, wife of Michael, of Etters. Also surviving are two aunts, Dolores Hildebrand of Wyomissing and Joan Christ of Morgantown, one niece, Amy Caltagirone, wife of John of Wernersville, one nephew, Terry Sarangoulis, Jr., of West Lawn, and many great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held, Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Gethsemane Cemetery at 10:00 am in the Chapel of St. George.

Burial will take place in Gethsemane Cemetery immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mark’s name may be made to the IM ABLE Foundation at imablefoundation.org.
