Miriam M. (Freeman) Kripplebauer

Miriam M. Kripplebauer, 94, of Penn Twp., passed away Wednesday in her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Miriam was married to her loving husband, Robert C. “Bob” Kripplebauer.

Born in Kenhorst, she was the daughter of the late Elem Elwood Freeman, Sr. and Mary (Erwin) Freeman.

Miriam retired from AT&T-Lucent as a lay out operator following thirty-three years of employment.

Miriam was a member of St. Thomas Church in Bernville.

Miriam and her husband Bob enjoyed cruising and traveling throughout the west in the United States.

Miriam was an exceptional cake baker and seamstress. She sewed beautiful quilts and made clothing for herself and her husband Bob.

Surviving is a daughter, Mary Ann DelCollo, widow of James DelCollo of Shillington.

A step daughter, Cynthia L. Kripplebauer of Wernersville.

There are two step sons, Robert R. Kripplebauer and wife Brenda Kripplebauer of Blandon and Richard A. Kripplebauer and wife Suzanne L. Kripplebauer of Wernersville.

There are five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.

Miriam is survived by her siblings, Henrietta Ziegler of Kenhorst, Elem “Skip” Freeman, Jr. of Joanna, PA and Donald Freeman and wife Lucille Freeman of Mohnton.

Miriam is predeceased by her siblings, Earl, James, Helen, Wayne, Beatrice, Jane, and Allan Freeman, Betty Freeman Nagle and Eula Freeman Yarnall.

There are numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 21st at 11 am in the Kirkhoff Funeral Home, 206 N. Main St., Bernville.

A viewing will be held on Friday morning for 10 am until 11 am in the funeral home.

Interment will follow the service in St. Thomas Cemetery in Bernville.
