Obituary

Raymond W. Schittler, Jr.,  62, of Robesonia, passed away Thursday, May 5th in his residence.

He was the partner for many years to James C. Yordy.

Born in Reading, he was the son of  Raymond W. Schittler, Sr. and Betty (Miller) Schittler.

He was a 1977 graduate of Oley Valley High School and was employed for many years at Alcon Surgical in Sinking Spring.

He was an animal lover, he enjoyed raising chickens, horses, and many other animals.

Raymond also enjoyed traveling and camping.

Additional survivors include five siblings, Cindy S. Moyer and husband Steve Moyer of Boyertown, Linda L. Fisher and husband Garland Fisher of Douglassville, Larry L. Schittler and wife Rachael Schittler of Boyertown, Rick A. Schittler and wife Deneen Schittler of Boyertown, and Steven M. Schittler and wife Tracy Schittler of Oley.

There are many close friends, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County, 58 Kennel Rd., Birdsboro, PA 19508.

The Kirkhoff Funeral Home in Bernville is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
