Robert W.  Werley, 95, of Bernville, passed away on May 5, 2021 due to complications of COVID-19 at Reading Hospital.

Born on November 8, 1925, he was a son to the late Norman G. and Stella (Blatt) Werley. He was the husband of the late Fern L. (Blake) Werley with whom he shared 65 years of marriage at her time of passing on February 2, 2014. Robert was the past Owner and Operator of Werley's Exxon Station in Leesport where he worked for many years until his retirement.

Robert is a proud Veteran of the United States Navy. He was a member of Bern Lutheran Church and worked as a volunteer at the Oley Community Fair and the Oley Fire Company where he was known as the "Toast Dude".

Robert is survived by his loving children, Diane L., wife of Daniel Levengood, of Oley and Lanny R. Werley, husband of Sandra, of Leesport. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Dawn L., wife of Alan Roman, Dena L., wife of Thomas Kauffman, Steven L. Werley, husband of Angela, Heather Werley, Lauren, wife of Phil Evans and nine great- grandchildren.

Services will be private at the request of the family.

Burial will take place in the Bern Cemetery.
