Scott  Biehl, 96, formerly of Temple, passed away Tuesday, December 15th at The Gardens For Memory Care in Easton.

Scott was married  for seventy two years to the late Marion N. (Heckman) Biehl who passed away March 21, 2016.

Born in Temple, he was the son of the late George W. and Lillie (Diefenderfer) Biehl.

He graduated from Muhlenberg Township High School in 1942.

He was a member of the 1940 Muhlenberg Soccer  Team.

He was a member of Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity in Leesport.

Scott served in the Navy during WW II.

Worked at his father’s service station and learned the business. For six years, he ran his own business before managing stations for Esso/Exxon and other private owners. Also worked off-and-on at Beryllium and Digeorgio. In retirement, he was a courier with a paper mill.

Scott was a lifetime member of Temple Fire Company where he was a former chief and trustee.

He was also a former Temple Borough Councilman.

Surviving are six children, Dawn L., wife of Richard Troop of Florida, Diane G., wife of Mark Pryor of Florida, Donna J., wife of David Shuman of Fleetwood, , Dennis S. Biehl and wife Susan of Temple, Douglas I. Biehl of Muhlenberg Twp., and Dean G. Biehl and wife Tammy of Temple.

There are nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.

Scott is predeceased by eleven brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family with burial in Berks County Memorial Gardens.

The Temple Fire Co. will honor Scott with a procession to the cemetery and the U. S. Navy will perform military honors at the cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity, 102 Apple St., Leesport, PA 19533.

The Milkins Trymbiski Funeral Home in Temple is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
